Newer elevator codes ask for more than a voice phone. ASME A17.1-2019 Section 2.27 and California Building Code 3001.2 call for a visual way to talk with passengers who cannot hear or speak. TECS-V is designed to meet those requirements.

  • 7 in bright, anti-glare text display with large white-on-navy messages
  • YES / NO buttons, raised with Grade 2 Braille, that light up when a question is waiting
  • Wide-angle camera: one-way video from the car, only during a call, with a red LED when live
  • Hands-free, echo-cancelled voice and an illuminated HELP button
  • CALL RECEIVED and HELP COMING backup lamps that work even if the screen does not
  • English and Spanish messages
