TELMOVE started with PBXs. Our founder, David Cook, installed and serviced systems with 5,000 to 10,000 phones as an AT&T PBX systems technician. Nearly 50 years later, keeping older business phone systems running is still part of what we do every day.

When the lines change, the system can stay
A common reason businesses think they need a new phone system is that the carrier is retiring their copper lines or PRI. In many cases the system can stay. We can connect an existing PBX or key system to SIP trunks or other current services, keep your phone numbers, and leave the phones on the desks exactly as they are. You decide later whether to replace the system, instead of being forced into it by a line change.

Legacy system questions
Can you repair a phone system the manufacturer no longer supports?
Often, yes. We troubleshoot and repair legacy PBX and key systems of all major brands, source replacement parts and phones, and handle programming and voicemail. If a system is beyond practical repair, we will tell you and show you the options.
Do I have to switch to VoIP when my copper lines are retired?
Not necessarily. An existing phone system can often be connected to SIP trunks or other current services so you keep your system and your numbers. You can move to a hosted PBX later, on your schedule.
Can you move our phone system to a new office?
Yes. We move, reinstall and reprogram systems, and coordinate the phone lines and internet at the new address.
